Are there front lines in war still?

I know in WWI, WWII, and Korea and many other wars there was front line. But in the Iraqi war there seems to not be one. Why is that? Is it because we are not fighting a more sophisticated force like the Germans who could reinforce it and keep sending troops or is the front line a thing in the past?
