What makes a good night out?

I've only recently started going out and partying with my friends over the past few months. Everytime I've been out there's always been a guy there i've been trying to impress. That's why i enjoy the evening so much, because of the anticipation "will anything happen, won't it..." This friday is a major night out with me and my friends. I've got a great new outfit in and I was erally hoping that the guy I wanted to be there would be but he's not. Which is such a shame as I look totally different in this new outfit and I wanted him to see. So i'm worried I won't enjoy the evening. I guess having him there makes my evening. What makes a good night out for you?
