Can bronchitis or pneumonia be cause by an external injury? ?

Ok so on Saturday I went for a ride with my horse. He spooked and took off. While trying to get his attention back, he slipped on ice and we both fell into like 18 inches of powder. We both were fine, so I thought. After we got back to the barn, I started having difficulties breathing. So I went to the er. Apparently I dislocated 2 ribs. So I saw a chiropractor and got it fixed. On monday I developed a hacking cough. By Tuesday night u felt really crappy. I am home sick today because standing makes me dizzy, it hurts to breathe, and everytime I cough my chest hurts like crazy. Oh and a little fever 100.2. Could my not feeling well relate to falling? And what do I have?
