So I'm doing this report on three of the Edgar Allen Poe short stories, and numerous times in the report I mention the stories (The Tell-Tale Heart, The Black Cat, and The Cask of Amontillado)--I'm not sure whether I should underline, italicize, or quote these titles, since they're basically chapters of a book (the book is called something like A Collection of Short Stories from Edgar Allen Poe). We don't have to. I have loads of friends of loads of different religions and we'd have "heated debates" but we're still mates in the end. I have Sound Blaster Audigy and have installed it along with programs, but can't talk through the headset?

I have an Audigy SE soundcard and a headset with the green and pink male plug wire that can plug into the back of the sound card which I ume thats where I plug my headset into. The speakers on my computer male green plug fit into the the third female opening on the back of the sound card in my computer leaving behind an extra spot. My microphone on the headset doesn't seem to work as I have successfully installed the software and programs, device drivers, and updated them, and hardware was working properly according to the device manager. Now my gripe is that I have an integrated sound card and that works for the mic on the headset. What is the problem?

Just last night, he was running around and playing then all of a sudden it was as if he lost muscle strength in all of his legs. So my dog has this cute but habit of hiding the last few bites of his treats in one of the beds in the house. Home owner total loss?

Hi, we recently had a small tornado the insurance adjuster listed the damage as "wind damage", anyway a huge tree fell through our home breaking floor beams, cracking the foundation. The fireplace was totally destroyedSufficeice it to say that one half of the house was ruined the kitchen and dinning room were left unharmed. The insurance adjuster said there was 94,000 dollars in damage. We had 3 different contractors give us estimatranginging from 166,000- 180,000. The adjuster did not list in his adjustment the damage to the floor joists or cracked foundation. I failed to mention that our policy limit is 134,000. How do we get the insurance company to give us a total loss on this home. We have been at this for nearly 2 months and the adjusthasn'tsnt been back out to talk to the contractor yet? I am a 19 year old male who just recently discovered that i have severe food allergies to many foods that i never showed a symptom to before. Previousely i knew that i am allergic to nuts (peanuts, walnuts, Almonds, etc) But about 6 months ago i started having random reactions that would send me to the hospital. After those reactions every food seemed to irritate my throat. I do suffer from asthma as well as dust pollin and tree allergies.I finaly had an allergy test with my allergist. Ok so I tried to make these Paula Deen triple chocolate cookies and the recipe called for baking soda but I had already mixed up everything else and I realized I have baking powder so I'm like what the hey you know I'll try it and see what happens and if it turns out bad I'll just buy some baking soda and do it over. So after I made the cookies and put them in I decided to Google using baking powder instead of baking soda and it said you can substitute but you will have to double it so I added more into the rest of the cookie dough but its so clumpy because of the chocolate chips that I don't think it got into all the cookie dough. The first cookies came out bad but I have so much cookie dough left so my question to you is... is there anyway I can save this cookie dough or do I have to trash it? I hate to waste it really. Also I have another question... it seems like the oven cooks everything super fast like way sooner than recipes call for so should I try a lower temperature or should I use the same temperature and cook it for less time or will they have the same effect?

The apartment complex i live in currently has an internet package included in the rent, so i am trying to connect my 360 to the net via this wireless connection. The problem being they just switched to a POE network and added a new warning screen so that when you bring up tha new browser page on your computer it tells you not to do anything illegal , bla,bla,bla. I know that one is face and one is body but I used the refining exfoliator on my face yesterday and it was great. It's totally smooth. Most exfoliators say they do that but can't. I don’t know why this has been happening...I started working out about 3 months ago, and when I am on the elliptical thing my feet go numb after 10 minuets! I stay on as long as I can (about 15 min), but it sucks! I want to work out, and when I finally get my lazy to the gym my feet go numb! Its not my shoes, changed them...not the socks, tried all different kinds. Also I am noticing that my arms, and hands are going numb fast, like if they sit in one position for over like 30 sec. their out. It happens at work all the time, I have to keep moving. And if that was not enough, I am getting dizzy. I will just be sitting here, and realize that my arm or leg is numb, and then my eyes go, and my head spins. It sort of feels like I go cross-eyed for a second. Weird hu? So does anyone have any ideas what this might be, or what I can do for it? I don’t have health ins. Plz don’t tell me to go to the dr. Also, I am pretty healthy, and I drink loads of water :o\ ... Any ideas??

I'm a junior in high school and I look at school exactly like you do and am constantly thinking about college. I think the best thing for you to do is try taking some online courses. My school uses IDLA (Idaho Digital Learning Academy) which offers countless courses and many of them are AP. I took two online this summer and if you're self-motivated like me, I really enjoyed it and it was simple. You should look into whether your school or state offers this program. Credits I earned from IDLA were put right onto my high school transcript, so you should talk to your counselor about that :) I don't think colleges will look at the courses you take as 'supplement courses' because a work ethic is a work ethic regardless of when you had it. The volunteer hours and student leadership are going to be huge pluses, too. Good luck!

For breakfast today, i ate half a bagel with cream cheese, a pint or more of oj. Then around 2, i ate two servings of ramen noodles with 2 eggs, some meat, and other fixingd. I haven't eaten anything else today. And i'm STARVING!!! I was going to wait for dinner with my family, but i'm really hungry!! Is it because i'm getting a high metabolism or growth spurt or whaatt? How do you feel about Public display of affection and then some?

My bf of 2 1/2 years always wants to do stuff when we are in public. We have chances to be alone , but not all the time. I am okay with hugging, kissing in public, but nothing else. Friend cutting wrists help!?

A friend is cutting his wrists, and has only told me and another friend who I doubt is going to do anything about it. He refuses to let anyone know about it, as much as I've tried to persuade him otherwise, and expects me to lie to any teachers or figureheads if they get suspicious. I'd probably go along with this if it was some kind of petty problem but I can tell he's on the brink. Really depressed. Sudden weight gain?! Help please!?

Long story short... I'm a 24 year old female... approx 5'8" tall... a little over a year ago I weighed 156 (according to the Dr.); then I somehow managed to drop a TON of weight and got down to 117---for the past year or so I've maintained an average of 120 pounds (no diet at all, eating everything and anything I wanted). Now, within the past week or so, I've started gaining; I feel "squishy" and just bloated all the time & it is really starting to stress me out. The only thing I changed about my diet is I STOPPED eating out and eating fast food... I eat an apple or something similar for a snack, and cut out sodas drastically and exchanged for water, and NO, I'm definitely not preggers, and Aunt Flo came and went last week, so it's not THAT kind of bloating. Does anyone have any thoughts or recommendations so I can lose my "squishiness" again? I am so stressed and don't want to be 156 again! Please help...thank you so much!

How do I unlock a pword protected .zip file without knowing the pword?

Hey guys, I recently downloaded a program off: softarchive.net, It looked very genuine as it was about 105MB in size. Only problem is when I try to unzip the files it comes up with a "enter pword" dialog. The only non-pword protected file was a .html file which leads me to this dodgy looking survey web site, stating that in order to get the pword to unlock the program files, i will have to fill out there scamming survey, I really don't want to do it... and even when it is completed they probably won't even tell me the pword... So do any of you guys know anyway i can open it? any programs or anything? i have tried ARCHPR to try do a brute-force crack, but it only supports up to 4 character passwords in the trial and im sure the password will be much longer, and im not going to spend any money... any free programs or anything? any tips and tricks? any computer hackers/crackers here to help me? The program i was wanting was Circuit wizard 1.50, because my updater for version 1.15 wont work and i need the 1.50 version really bad because it supports GENIE PIC system... once again thanks ;)
